The Japan Arts Centre is a centre of excellence for Japanese Martial Arts that is located approximately five minutes from Bristol City Centre. A wide range of classes are provided, including Karate, Aikido and Judo. Beginners are welcome.

At the Japan Arts Centre, we retain strong roots with the Japanese way of development, hence the name Seishinkan Dojo. The Japanese translation for this is:

• Sei - Pure
• Shin - Heart or Good Spirit
• Kan - House or Building

The basic translation of Seishinkan is Dojo (Building) of Pure Heart. Its aim is to develop students with healthy bodies and strong minds through the particular martial disciplines that are practised here.
